Ok, so this one is in New Hampshire. I drove up to Alton Bay on a spur-of-the-moment decision, after noticing that the evening would be very nice. Missed the golden evening light, but enjoyed a very nice evening at Lake Winnipesaukee.
I awakened early to find that the sun was just coming up. Driven by my desire to catch the light of sunrise, I drove to Drakes Island a couple of miles from our campsite. I captured several images such as this. A few hours later these beaches would be crawling with people.
Here’s one of my favorite lighthouses, Old Nubble in York, Maine. The scene never gets old. I’m not the lighthouse collector, my Dad is – but I’ll still aim my camera at them!
